A city founded in the twelve century by the king Ananda Malla covering area of 6.88 km with conch shape is the smallest district of Nepal is Bhaktapur. It is the city of various cultures, colurful festivals and ritual dances, magnificent temples and the destiny of tourists visiting in Nepal. Nyataponla (Five stair) temple, Fifty Five Windows Palace, Bhairav Nath Temple, Sun Dhoka (Golden Gate), The Yaksheswor Mandev Temple, Peacock Windows, The Largest Shiva Lingun at Hanuman Ghat etc. are just the few of monuments reflecting Bhaktapur’s artistic grandeur. Nawadurga Dance of Bhaktapur is the most famous dance in the Kathmandu Valley. Likewise Gai Jatra, Bisket Jatra etc. have their great values. Nagarkot is the best destiny for catching the great mountain views. Changu Narayan Temple is also located at Bhaktapur which is one of the seven UNECO World Heritage sites in the valley. This city is mainly inhabitated by Newars including Bahun, Chhetri, Rai, Tamang etc. like as Nepal with various Castes and Ethnic groups.
